In May 2021, there will be fun bike events across the State of Maryland in celebration of Bike Month.  A highlight will include Bike to Work Week and Bike to Work Day festivities coordinated by our partners in the  Baltimore and Washington, DC regions. MDOT is proud to help sponsor those activities, and to encourage safe participation in compliance with current Covid-19 restrictions.  However you do it, Enjoy the Ride!  

The MDOT Kim Lamphier Bikeways Network Program is accepting applications between May 3 and June 3, 2021.  For fiscal year 2022, a total of $3.8 million will be available for Bikeways projects that improve bicycle safety, connectivity, and access in the State of Maryland.    Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply through the MDOT Bikeways website.  Applications are due by 11:59 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
