MDOT FY 2022 Grants Webinar

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) will host a webinar to discuss grants available for FY 2022 on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 10 am (EST). The webinar will review several funding opportunities, including the national Transportation Alternatives, Safe Routes to School, and Recreational Trails programs, as well as grants through the Maryland Highway Safety Office, MDOT Kim Lamphier Bikeways Network and Statewide Transit Innovation Grant programs.

Bikeways Project Public Outreach

With the State of Maryland continuing to operate under an Elevated Level II status due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public outreach on infrastructure projects continues to be challenging. However, MDOT remains committed to providing the information, tools, and resources needed to advance state goals for safety and connectivity. The interactive Bikeways project map now has links to project-specific sites so that the public can learn more about these projects. Websites for new Bikeways projects include The Indian Head Rail Trail Extension Feasibility Study and The Wolfe-Washington Bikeway Study.
