Governor Larry Hogan has proclaimed today, Wednesday, October 7th, the sixth annual Walk Maryland Day, which is a celebration of the State’s official exercise and a call to action to promote awareness about the benefits of walking for physical activity and improved health. So step out! Whether you are a Walk Leader, “Sole Mate,” or Sole-O walker, we hope that you take some time out of your day to enjoy a walk and encourage fellow Marylanders to also celebrate safely within their
communities, local and state parks, or even around their homes.
