Maryland State Freight Plan 

Second Survey Now Available!

As part of the update process for the development of the 2026 Maryland State Freight Plan (SFP), the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is soliciting feedback on the development and refinement of the State’s freight needs, priorities, and strategies. 

MDOT is seeking input from MDOT Modal Administrations, the State Freight Advisory Committee (SFAC), Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO), and other agencies, stakeholders, and public participants. Input received helps to better understand freight needs and priorities and helps identify challenges and solutions to the State’s freight mobility so please share this survey with your networks. As part of this survey participants will be able to:

• Provide feedback on the 2026 SFP Needs and Priorities
• Rank the Strategy Focus Areas
• Sign up to stay up to date on news and updates on the 2026 SFP

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete and can be done via desktop (preferred) or mobile. Please submit your survey by July 22, 2026.
