Commuter Choice Maryland Annual Report: 2025 Year in Review
We are excited to announce that we recently published our Commuter Choice Maryland (CCM) Annual Report: 2025 Year in Review. This publication highlights all the great strides
the CCM program has made throughout 2025, including the new Ride Together Rewards: Transit, Carpool, and Vanpool Incentives Programs; the continued success of the Employer Partner Program; and insights into the program’s outreach and marketing strategies and efforts. MDOT Corridor Pilot Update
In January, MDOT launched the MD 295 Corridor Pilot, a new initiative focused on providing CCM's free support to employers and commuters along the MD 295 corridor (between West Nursery Road and I-95) to improve commutes
during ongoing impacts from the Key Bridge collapse. Through this pilot, CCM is providing targeted support for employers in this area to establish or improve commuter benefit programs, as well as targeted outreach to individuals who live or work along the corridor to inform and encourage them to try new commuting options. Since the launch, the Pilot
team continues to make progress in supporting employers and commuters along the corridor. The team has conducted outreach with employers via mail, email and in-person; launched a corridor-specific website; and developed an employee survey to better understand current commuting patterns in the corridor. The team has already hosted two online “MD 295 Corridor Conversations” designed to help participating organizations better understand how the program can support them, while providing an opportunity to ask questions of both the project team and other employers in
the corridor. The team will continue to host these events monthly throughout the six-month Pilot, with each event focusing on a specific aspect of the program. The next MD 295 Corridor Conversation on Employer Tax Incentives will be held on Tuesday, April 24, from noon to 1 p.m. Click here (email) to contact the team if you would like to join the conversation. The project team would like to thank the employer partners already participating in the pilot for their collaboration and
commitment to improving their employees’ commutes. Their engagement is helping shape strategies that respond to the specific commute needs of this corridor. We are interested in connecting with additional employers in the area who may benefit from the project. Organizations interested in learning more or getting involved are encouraged to visit the pilote website here (website) or contact the team at CommuterChoice@mdot.maryland.gov.
